Course: Intermediate English Speaking & Listening Guide
This is a step-by-step guide for Course: Intermediate English Speaking & Listening
In this guide, we'll learn how to create and configure a quiz for a course, specifically focusing on setting up a week one video quiz. The process involves adding the quiz to the course, configuring its settings such as timing, layout, and question behavior, and ensuring it is hidden from students until ready. We'll also cover how to add questions from a question bank, including selecting random questions from specific categories. Finally, we'll preview the quiz to ensure everything functions correctly before students access it.
Let's get started
I will create a quiz in week one. Click on "Add an Activity."

Click on "Add Quiz."

Name the quiz "Week One Video Quiz."

Ensure you check the display description on the lecture home page.

Set the timing to five minutes.

You don't need to set any other times for now.

Layout: Create a new page for each question. Question behavior: Enable shuffle.

Advanced settings, overview, grade category, Panopto videos.

Attempts allowed: one.

Review options immediately after the attempt, including the attempt and marks.

Later, while the quiz is open, review the same items.

After the quiz is closed, change the common module settings to hide it from students.

Save and return to the course.

To add the quizzes and quiz questions, ensure you are in editing mode. Locate the quiz and then add the quiz questions.
Week one video quiz: Go to add questions.

I will set the maximum grade to two.

Save, then add questions from the question bank.

Where is that? Yes, week one. I will move from week one to week two.

First, learn how to use KLMS and Classroom.

Next, add another random question.

I'll start from the same week. This video has many questions, so I'll choose two random ones from there.

Add a random question.

Finally, from the last video, a simple conversation model.

From here, I'm going to add two questions and a random question.

I want to ensure that questions related to the same video on the same page are adjusted accordingly.

I see that I have three pages: one video, a second video, and a third video on the page.

Then I can go to week one to preview the quiz.
Click to preview the quiz.
Okay, that's all.
