Rider Payouts
.
Rider Payouts : Rider Payouts refers to the amount of money that a rider (like a delivery person or driver) receives for their work. It’s the payment given to riders by the company they work for .
To begin configuring payouts for different delivery scenarios, first navigate to the Orders Dashboard, go to Setup, and click on the User section. This section allows you to define payout rules based on specific order-related events. To set up a base payment for every completed order, click on Add Payout. In the form that appears, enter the unique identifier (e.g., "0011001"), the hub code of the rider, the worker type name, and the order status. Under the rulebidentifier field, enter the specific amount the rider should receive for completing one order. After verifying the details, click Submit to confirm the payout. This setup ensures that every order completion automatically triggers the corresponding base payment.
For handling additional payout rules during unexpected situations like rain, go to the Rain Charge Increase section and click on Add Payout. Select the hub, input the worker type, and specify if it is raining by selecting True. Then, define the minimum and maximum distance planned for delivery, followed by the base charge for such deliveries. If the rider travels beyond the maximum distance, specify the step distance and the price per step for the extra distance. Once all fields are filled, submit the form. To account for distance-based charges (when a rider has to go further than the initially planned location), navigate to Distance Charges, add the payout, choose the hub and worker type, then provide the delivery status, minimum and maximum distance, base charge, step size, and price per planned distance, and submit.
Additionally, you can configure Long Distance Charges by again clicking Add Payout, choosing the hub and worker type, and defining the delivery status, planned distance range, base charge, step size, and price per additional distance. In cases where compensation is needed for pickup time, add a new payout, choose the appropriate hub and worker type, specify the minimum pickup time, and assign a charge for it before submitting. Lastly, to manage Open Box Delivery (OBD) Charges, click on Add Payout, select the hub and worker type, define the order status, indicate whether the delivery is OBD or not, provide a charge under rule_identifier, and submit. By configuring these payout options, the platform ensures fair and flexible compensation for riders across all delivery scenarios
