Assign Captains to a Vessel from your Fleet
Step-by-step guide for Barge Dispatchers to determine which captains may manage a vessel's voyages.

RPIS users with the "Barge Dispatcher" role can assign captains to a vessel that has already been added in the fleet. This requires that these captains have already been added as team members.
Captains assigned to a vessel can only create, view, and edit voyages for that vessel.
Captains assigned to the same vessel can view and edit voyages created by other captains assigned to that vessel.
A captain can be assigned to multiple vessels.
Captains assigned to the same vessel can view and edit voyages created by other captains assigned to that vessel.

Here's how:

On the RPIS Platform, select the “Barge Operation” section.

Go to the "Manage Fleet" section.

Select the vessel you want to assign captains to.

In the "Edit Vessel" column, add the captains in the field provided.

At the very bottom, click "Update Vessel".

A confirmation message is displayed.
The captains have been successfully assigned to the vessel!
