Assign and Manage Teachers for Class Offerings

This guide outlines how to assign, replace, and add support teachers to subject offerings in edusua to ensure all classes are properly staffed.

This guide applies to school administrators and academic coordinators managing teacher allocations on the Class Offerings page during term preparation or timetable adjustments.

Assign a Teacher to a Vacant Subject

When a subject offering does not yet have an assigned instructor, assign a primary teacher directly from the offerings list.

Step #1: Click Vacant in the Teacher column for the target subject offering. — Click **Vacant** in the Teacher column for the target subject offering.

Step #2: Click the Select teacher dropdown under the Assign subject teacher section. — Click the **Select teacher** dropdown under the **Assign subject teacher** section.

Step #3: Select the teacher you want to assign from the dropdown list. — Select the teacher you want to assign from the dropdown list.

Step #4: Click + Assign to confirm the teacher assignment. — Click **+ Assign** to confirm the teacher assignment.

Replace an Assigned Teacher

To reassign a class offering to another teacher:

Step #5: Click the assigned teacher's name in the Teacher — tap to change column. — Click the assigned teacher's name in the **Teacher — tap to change** column.

Step #6: Click the Select teacher dropdown under the Replace subject teacher section. — Click the **Select teacher** dropdown under the **Replace subject teacher** section.

Step #7: Select the replacement teacher from the list. — Select the replacement teacher from the list.

Step #8: Click Replace to update the primary subject teacher. — Click **Replace** to update the primary subject teacher.

Add a Support Teacher

If a class offering requires an assistant or co-teacher, you can assign additional support.

Step #9: Click the teacher name button on the subject offering row. — Click the teacher name button on the subject offering row.

Step #10: Click the Choose a teacher to add as support dropdown under the Add support teacher section. — Click the **Choose a teacher to add as support** dropdown under the **Add support teacher** section.

Step #11: Select the desired support teacher from the list. — Select the desired support teacher from the list.
