Downloading, Installing, and Using ScreenPal for Creating Screen Recordings

If you do not have an account, please request one through IT.

Once you have an account, on screenpal.com, click on "Log In"

Click on "Sign In With Google"

If you do not yet have the application installed on your laptop, a "Download" link will appear in a few seconds. Click "Download"

Once the download completes, click on downloads

You can make the recording window smaller or larger by dragging the corner. You can move the window by dragging anywhere inside the window.

Check through your settings on whether you would like to add narration or pass through computer audio. Once you are ready, click "REC"

Once finished with your recording, you can click the pause button. You then have the option to edit the video, save the file to your laptop, or upload to ScreenCloud's servers and share a link.

I would recommend saving the file to your device and then uploading to Google Drive, where we have more control over the file, instead of uploading to ScreenCloud's servers.
