Create a Combined Session on the Timetable
Learn how to create and schedule a combined session for multiple classes in edusua.

This guide shows you how to schedule a combined class session across multiple class groups and assign it to a specific day, period, and venue on the timetable.
This process applies to school administrators, academic heads, and timetable coordinators setting up shared subject periods across grade levels.
Configure a Combined Session

Click Combined Session on the Timetable toolbar.

Click the Select subject dropdown menu.

Select ICT / Computing from the subject list.

Select the Primary 1 checkbox under the Classes section.

Select the Primary 2 checkbox to include it in the combined session.

Click the Day dropdown menu.

Select Tuesday.

Click the Period dropdown menu.

Select Period 3.

Click the Venue (optional) dropdown menu.

Select Art Room.

Click Create Session to finalize and add the session to the schedule.

Click the Close (×) button to close the session dialog.

Verify the Schedule Across Classes

Click the Class selector dropdown menu.

Select Primary 1 to review the timetable for that class.

Click the Class selector dropdown menu again.

Select Primary 2 to confirm the shared session appears on their timetable.

Term | Definition |

Combined Session | A scheduled class period shared concurrently by two or more class cohorts. |
Period | A predefined time block within a daily school timetable. |
Venue | A designated physical room or facility assigned to host a scheduled class session. |
