How to Create and Export Tuesday Updates for Active Listings

Learn how to update real estate flyers in Canva by compiling showing feedback from ShowingTime and listing views from Zillow, then export them for sellers.

This guide explains how to compile viewing metrics and showing feedback into a real estate update flyer using Canva. The goal is to provide sellers with a polished, accurate summary of their active listing's weekly performance.

This process is intended for real estate marketing coordinators or administrative staff handling weekly seller communications. It should be performed every Tuesday for all active properties.

Prepare Your Workspace

Step #1: Click on the Canva tab to open your dashboard. — Click on the Canva tab to open your dashboard.

Only create Tuesday updates for active listings. Cross-reference your transaction sheet in Excel to ensure the property is not under contract or marked as coming soon.

Retrieve Showing Feedback

Step #3: Switch to your browser tab for ShowingTime. — Switch to your browser tab for ShowingTime.

Step #4: Click Listings in the left-hand navigation menu. — Click **Listings** in the left-hand navigation menu.

Step #5: Select the active listing you want to update. — Select the active listing you want to update.

Step #6: Click Activity to view the Listing Activity Report. — Click **Activity** to view the Listing Activity Report.

Step #7: Highlight a relevant comment from a recent showing agent. — Highlight a relevant comment from a recent showing agent.

Press Cmd + C to copy the feedback.

Update Feedback in Canva

Step #9: Return to the Canva tab. — Return to the Canva tab.

Step #10: Double-click the text box under Feedback from showings. — Double-click the text box under **Feedback from showings**.

Type the date and activity type, such as "7/25- Showing", and press Enter.

Press Cmd + V to paste the feedback.

If the new text causes the box to overflow, delete one of the older feedback entries from the bottom of the list.

Retrieve Zillow Views

Step #13: Open a new tab for Zillow and click the central search bar. — Open a new tab for Zillow and click the central search bar.

Type the property address into the search field.

Update Zillow Views in Canva

Step #18: Switch back to the Canva tab and double-click the Zillow views text box. — Switch back to the Canva tab and double-click the Zillow views text box.

Type the updated view count from Zillow.

Download and Save the Flyer

Step #20: Click Share in the top-right corner of the Canva editor. — Click **Share** in the top-right corner of the Canva editor.

Step #21: Click Download. — Click **Download**.

When choosing an export format, you have two primary options:

PNG	The format suggested by Canva; ideal for high-quality digital viewing.
JPEG	An acceptable alternative that typically results in a smaller file size.

When the system save dialog appears:

Step #28: Double-click the Tuesday Updates folder. — Double-click the **Tuesday Updates** folder.

Step #29: Click New Folder to organize the updates for the current week. — Click **New Folder** to organize the updates for the current week.

Type the date (e.g., "7/28") as the folder name and press Enter.

Step #31: Click Save to place the file inside the newly created folder. — Click **Save** to place the file inside the newly created folder.

Q: Why did Canva download my updates as a ZIP folder?

A: If you download multiple pages at once, Canva will bundle them into a ZIP folder. You will need to extract the folder to access the individual files. Downloading one page at a time will save it directly as an image file.

Q: Should I create updates for properties that are under contract or coming soon?

A: No. Tuesday updates should only be generated for active listings. Always check your transaction sheet to verify the property's status before proceeding.
