How Non - OBD works.
In this guide we will see step - by - step process how Non - OBD works
Introduction
This guide walks you through the Non-Open Box Delivery (Non-OBD) process. It’s designed for riders tasked with picking up products from a storage location and delivering them to customers. You’ll learn how to accept an order, retrieve the product, deliver it, process payment, document the handover, and return to the store—all in a straightforward flow. Whether you’re new to the system or need a refresher, this explanation keeps it simple and clear.
Starting the Process
First check into the shipsy rider app. Rider can only check in according to shift timings outside the check in Rider cannot get the orders.
When an order pops up—say, "Order U1055"—your first move is to accept it. Find the ACCEPT button and slide the arrow from left to right to lock it in. After that, tap the order number to peek at the details: what you’re picking up, where it’s stored, and where it’s headed. Once you’ve got the gist, slide the Picking Up Started button to signal you’re off to collect the product.
Collecting the Product
At the storage spot, you’ll need to log the pickup location. Hit SCAN to scan the storage area, then add it to the system by selecting Add. With the location recorded, move forward in the app. After grabbing the product from storage, slide the PICKUP COMPLETED button to mark it as in your hands—ready for delivery.
Heading to the Customer
Now, take the product to the customer’s location. When you get there, slide the REACHED GATE button to update your status. Before handing anything over, slide PROCEED TO DELIVERY to prep for the drop-off. You’ll then see a screen to verify the product quantity—double-check it matches what’s expected. If it’s good, select YES, PROCEED to lock it in. Heads-up: you can’t tweak the quantity after this, so be sure it’s right.
Processing Payment
Next up is payment. The app will ask you to pick a method—either Scan & Pay (for digital transactions) or Pay By CASH (for hard currency). Choose one, then hit CONTINUE to move forward. Once the customer pays, tap COLLECT to log the transaction and keep things rolling.
Documenting the Handover
Before the product leaves your hands, you need proof of delivery. Take a quick photo of the product using the capture option in the app, then accept the picture to save it. This step’s mandatory, so don’t skip it. With the photo done, move to the next screen and slide the Delivered button once the customer has the goods.
Helpful Notes
Stuck Somewhere? If a button’s missing or unresponsive, backtrack—did you scan the location, confirm the quantity, or save the photo?
Photo Reminder: The picture is required before delivery; it’s your proof if questions come up later.
Conclusion
The Non-OBD process is all about moving a product from storage to a customer smoothly. You accept the order, pick it up, deliver it, handle payment, snap a photo, and head back—all through a few taps and slides in the Glitter AI app. Once you’re comfortable with the flow, it’s a breeze. After finishing, check the order status in the app to confirm it’s marked complete, and you’re good to go.
