Guide to removing tripod from 360 images

This is a step-by-step guide for removing tripod and shadow from 360 images using Affinity 2 Photo.

Click on "File"

Click "open" and select your image from the file browser to open it.

When your image has opened we need to create an Equirectangular projection. To do this Click on "Layer"

Hover over Live Projection and then click on "Equirectangular Projection"

Click and drag to move the projection to the area (usually tripod) that you want to remove.

Click the "Inpainting Brush" tool and draw over the object you want to remove. The object should now be removed, you can fine tune this result by continuing to use the "Inpainting Brush" tool where necessary.

We now need to remove the Equirectangular Projection. So "click Layer"

Hover over "Live Projection" and click "Remove Projection"

You can then save your file.

and finally close the image. This image is now ready to be uploaded to Thinglink, tripod removed!
