Gloss Meter - How to perform a gloss test

1. Calibrating the gloss meter

Before starting, ensure the base panel is connected to the gloss reader, this is magnetic and should connect itself.

Press the power button on the top left once to calibrate the gloss reader with the base panel connected.

Take the base panel off before testing a sample.

Place the reader onto a cured sample and take the reading by pressing the power button once.

If successful, a reading will show on screen in the highlighted area.
3. Recording the test results.
Repeat this step 4 times, ensuring the meter is moved into different area of the sample.
The reading must be recorded after each test and an average taken from all 4 tests.
The average will be the result that is logged.
