By Keith Tacey

In this guide, we'll learn how to navigate the Ohio State Test Portal to prepare for administering tests. The process involves accessing the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE) to manage student information. We'll cover how to log in, select the appropriate user role, and upload necessary files to ensure students are ready for testing.

Let's get started

I'm opening Google and typing in "Ohio Testing Portal." There's a link that says "Ohio's State Test Portal." I'm going to click on that.

Step #11: Click on "Upload Pre-ID File".

If you cannot find your old file, download a template. If you have your old file, upload it here. In the file, make sure each test section has the letter 'o' in the column. This gives them access to the specified test. Once the file is uploaded, students can take the tests.
