In this guide, we'll learn how to add a recipe to a cookbook using a structured method. The process involves opening three documents: the master sheet, the navigator cookbook, and the original recipe. You'll import the recipe from a website, adjust the ingredients and instructions, and ensure the format is correct. Finally, you'll save and classify the recipe for easy access.

This is a method to add a recipe to a cookbook. First, open three documents: the master sheet in Excel, cookbook in your browser, and your recipe in another window.

Copy the URL of your recipe and paste it into the Cookbook field

You now have a draft recipe.

You can now close the recipe window in your browser.

Edit the title if need be, and delete the description

Always change the "Yield" field to 10 serves.

You will then compare with the master sheet and edit any ingredients and their quantities that have changed from the original recipe.

It will usually be quantities, some ingredients, and unity of measure.

Next. review your instructions if you need to modify the recipe. Ensure each paragraph is separated by two blank lines.

Save your work.
You can now print and create a PDF. Ensure each paragraph is separated by two blank lines.
