In this guide, we'll learn how to enhance task management by adding multiple emails to a single task in Outlook. This process allows you to consolidate relevant information, making it easier to access all necessary details in one place. By following these steps, you can efficiently organize your tasks and ensure that all related emails are bundled together for quick reference.

Let's get started

Hello. I want to show one of the features where you can add more emails to the same task. First, we'll convert this email into a task. We're going to drag and drop it like this.

1
Drag the email and drop it onto the Tasks icon on the left sidebar to create a new task.
Step #1: Drag the email and drop it onto the Tasks icon on the left sidebar to create a new task.

The task is now created.

Now, let's say there's another email relevant to the same task you want to complete. To do this, go to "Insert" at the top of the task sheet, then select the "Outlook" item. Once you do that, a miniature inbox will open, looking exactly like your current inbox. You can double-click on any email you want to attach to the task. Let's say it's this one here.

I'll double-click it, and it will be added to this task. This way, you can bundle relevant information for when you need it.

2
Double-click the email you want to attach.
Step #2: Double-click the email you want to attach.

Now, go back to Task and press Save and Close.

3
Click the Save & Close button.
Step #3: Click the Save & Close button.

That's it.
