How to Book Deliveries into Home Depot Using the C3 Portal
Learn how to efficiently book and manage delivery appointments into Home Depot using the C3 portal. Step-by-step guide for seamless scheduling.
In this guide, we'll learn how to book delivery appointments into Home Depot using the C3 portal. This process involves logging into the portal with a consistent username and password, entering necessary details such as the PO number, and selecting the appropriate delivery time. We'll also cover how to manage existing appointments, including searching, changing, or rebooking them. Understanding this system will help streamline your delivery scheduling and ensure efficient coordination with Home Depot.
Let's get started
To book deliveries into Home Depot, use the C3 portal. I will send you the username and password, which have remained the same for the past two years. This is what the screen looks like when you open the website.
After entering your username and password, click "Log In."

Give it a moment to load. When you want to book a new delivery, first log in. Initially, everything will be blank because there are no appointments set up yet.
Once you're further into the season, you'll see all your upcoming appointments, anything currently on-site, and appointments needing approval. Right now, everything is blank because no appointments are booked yet for this season. However, once appointments are scheduled, they'll appear in different sections of the screen.

To book a new delivery appointment, click on the "New Direct Ship Prepaid" button. A box will appear where you need to fill in some information.

We need to enter the PO number.

This will come from the tender.

Here, the client PO number is the one we'll use to book the Home Depot delivery.

I also check the delivery location.

When we open the PO, I can cross-reference it to ensure it shows the correct store location.
I will copy this number from the tender, paste it into the PO section, and click "Add PO."

Take a moment, and a small box will appear. Once opened, you can confirm it's going to Woodstock.

It usually takes about a few hours for the POs from S BOUDRAIS to appear in C3. If they are not in C3 by the next day, contact S BOUDRAIS to check the status. It doesn't happen instantly.

All right, click on "Continue" to proceed. You'll need to fill out some reservation details. The unload location will always be lumber, seasonal, and outdoor.

The pallet count will be included on the tender.

I return to the tender and check the skid count.
I would add all these together.

To obtain 30 pallets, that's all the information you need.

The weight is not important.
The trailer number is not important.
You can add comments if you wish, but it's not necessary. Once you've filled out those two details, click on continue.

This section is where you confirm the address of the Home Depot store for delivery. You don't need to do anything else on this page, but you can verify that the address matches on C3, as shown on the tender.
We can continue.

This is where you select your delivery appointment. Anything in orange indicates limited availability.

The store must approve the appointment.
Anything in green indicates an available appointment you can book.

Most of the time, it will show as approved right away. However, sometimes the stores may change those appointments. So, be a little cautious. Email confirmations will be sent to a specific email. I'll ensure they are set up to come to you and Nicole, so you both receive the emails with the confirmed appointments.
Once you've chosen your preferred time, click on "Request" in the bottom corner. I won't click it now, as it will book the appointment, and I'm not sure if you're ready for that. That's all there is to it.
Your appointment will be booked.
If you want to search for, change, or rebook an appointment, click the search icon in the top right corner.

Next, enter your client PO number.

The reservation should appear here. I haven't booked it yet, so there's nothing visible. Once it appears, there will be a dropdown to amend the appointment.
