Let's get started
Hello, amazing students. Welcome to your first activation assignment.

In this first step, choose a short quote or message that is meaningful to you. It could be something you've heard, read, or even something you say to yourself. You don't need anything long or complicated.
Short messages can be very powerful.
You might choose something hopeful, honest, or a reminder you need for yourself. Choose a message that expresses your feelings or what you want to say.

For example, I'm often told to just breathe. I include this as a reminder to pause and center myself.
Or that today was hard. We've all had those difficult days. It recognizes the challenges of daily life.
Or maybe you need a reminder to keep going and persist. This is your message. Once you've considered the message, think about the emotion you want it to convey.

Are you feeling calm? Strong?
Hopeful? Frustrated? Or something else? Your message can express whatever feels true to you today. Maybe I'm feeling strong.
I would look for a message that encourages resilience and personal empowerment. Or maybe I feel peaceful. I will choose words that create a sense of serenity and calm. Look at the slide and see if anything stands out to you. You can also consider an emotion that isn't listed. To spark ideas, think about simple visual symbols that match your message.

A feather can represent lightness. A wave can indicate movement or change. A single star can represent hope. You do not need detailed artwork. Simple shapes and symbols can convey a lot.
Look at the pictures and see if you can relate to them, or think of other images that better match how you feel. After choosing your message, write it down and keep it close by.

This way, you can check in with it whenever you need or take a short break. Having the word "breathe" on a rock on my desk reminds me to breathe whenever I see it. When you're ready, move on to the next video. You'll learn how to design your visual.
