How to Create Project Recaps for Blogs and Marketing

In this guide, we'll learn how to create project recaps for blog and marketing purposes. Project recaps are essential for showcasing ongoing projects and engaging potential clients. We'll start by accessing the project recap folder in Drive, making a copy of the template, and renaming it according to the project details. We'll explore how to use tools like ChatGPT to streamline the writing process, ensuring the content is engaging and SEO-friendly. Finally, we'll cover how to incorporate project photos and share the recap with relevant team members for review and publication.

Let's get started

Here's how to create project recaps. These recaps are for our blog and marketing purposes. First, we post them on our blog. We might also use them in marketing emails or on postcards.

For marketing purposes, it's important to show that we're actively working on projects. The first step in creating a project recap is to go to the project recap folder.

If we're asking you to do a project recap, it should be shared with you. You can see I have a project recap template. It should be in view-only status. You'll need to make a copy of that template. I already have one open, so let's go through it. This is the template.

First, go to File and select Make a Copy. Name it using the client's last name followed by Project Recap

We don't have a YouTube video, so we'll skip that. I'll start with the questions. The first question is about the project location. There's an easy and a simple way to handle this. The simple way is to use ChatGPT. It will mostly do the work for you, requiring only about five to ten minutes of your time.

If you were to do it without ChatGPT, you might spend 30 to 40 minutes. It depends on your writing style and how you interpret the scope of work.
