How to Embed Firefly Meeting Videos in Confluence Recaps
Learn how to add and embed Firefly meeting videos into your Confluence meeting recaps with this step-by-step guide.
In this guide, we'll learn how to add and embed Firefly's meeting videos into a meeting recap within Confluence. This process involves navigating to the meeting recap template, copying it, and renaming it for your specific meeting. We'll then link and embed the video from Firefly's, ensuring the meeting notes are comprehensive and accessible. This method is useful for both internal and external meeting documentation, enhancing the clarity and utility of your recaps.
Let's get started
This guide will help you add Firefly's meeting video and embed it into a meeting recap. First, navigate to the meeting recap template within the Confluence space. Copy the template and add it to either an external or internal space. This should be done for any meeting notes you have. Rename the copy, for example, "Test Meeting Recap." Next, add the Firefly's link and embed the video. Find a meeting in Firefly's, such as the Thursday Scrum, ensuring it has a video. Once you find a meeting with a video, click on "Share" and copy the link. Go back to your Confluence page, highlight the text you want to hyperlink, click on the link icon, paste the link, and insert it. To embed the video, type backslash "iframe" and click on it. You'll see fields on the right-hand side. Get the URL for the video by clicking "Share" and then "Embed" in Firefly's. Copy the embed link, return to your page, and paste it into the URL field. Remove unnecessary parts of the URL, including quotes before and after it. Set the width to 640 and the height to 360. Once done, your meeting video will be embedded. Complete the recap as usual and click "Publish." You can set access permissions as needed. After publishing, your recap will include the embedded video and a link to the recording.

Next, add the Firefly's link and embed the video.
