How to Enter Accessorial Charges for Danone in Uber Freight
Learn step-by-step how to enter accessorial charges for Danone using the Uber Freight portal, including changing currency and calculating detention charges.
In this guide, we'll learn how to enter accessorial charges for Danone using the Uber Freight portal. This process involves logging into the portal, searching for the relevant load using the BOL number, and submitting a new accessorial request. We will focus on changing the currency, selecting the appropriate charge type, and calculating the detention charges accurately. This guide will help ensure that all necessary charges are submitted correctly and efficiently.
Let's get started

When the page loads, you will see "Carrier Portal" on the left-hand side. Select this option.

You will now see the load search page. Select the Uber Freight load reference number box and paste in your BOL number, which is the "903.." number you'll find in TMW.

Once selected, a new page will appear, this is where you will enter the charges.

After changing your currency to Canadian, the next step is to adjust the charge type.

For this example, we will upload charges for detention at the consignee. Select "detention unloading" and enter stop number two, as it is at the consignee for delivery.

In this example, our driver had an appointment at 5:30 PM. He arrived on time at 5:28 PM and departed at 8:09 PM. They have 2 hours free so wait time charges start to apply at 7:30 PM to 8:09PM is applicable.
We can only bill in 15 minute increments therefore the charge amount would be $37.50 for half an hour.

After you click submit, you will return to the main page, and the extra charges will be added to the order for approval. You can roll your mouse over the envelope to see the charges applied, approval/denial, and comments.
