In this guide, we will walk you through how to manage your "Preferred to Work" times and "Unavailable" times on your Connecteam schedule using the mobile app. You’ll learn how to set your availability, mark times when you're unavailable, and manage recurring schedules. By following these steps, you can keep your schedule accurate and communicate your work preferences effectively.
Let's get started
Open the Connect Team app on your mobile phone. This is the default view of the User's screen, as shown with your username here.
You can return to the default User's screen by selecting "Feed" in the bottom left corner of your mobile screen. Alternatively, you can also access this from your "Assets" button on your mobile app.

2
Click on "Job scheduling"
⚠ Important: Ensure that your Preferred Work and Unavailable Times do not overlap, as this will create a conflict and prevent you from proceeding.
Similarly, when creating a Referral Shift (once Provider Administrative Rights are implemented and you begin adding shifts and jobs to your calendar for the referrals you will be working), make sure it does not overlap with an Unavailable Time or another scheduled shift. If any times conflict, adjust them so that one ends before the next begins.
Example: If you have an Unavailable Time set from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, you cannot schedule a Preferred Work time or a Referral Shift that starts anytime between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. However, you can schedule one that begins exactly at 6:00 PM, ensuring there is no overlap.
By carefully setting your availability, you’ll avoid conflicts and ensure your schedule remains accurate.
