How to perform an hardness test

1. Ensuring the tester is ready for testing.

Press the "OFF/ON" button on the front of the device.

If successful, the screen will power on. The device must read "HD" in the top right corner before proceeding.
2. Testing the samples.

Press the bottom probe flat against a samples coating - The device must be fully flat against the coating.

Record the result on screen.
3. Logging results.
This step must be repeated a total of 7 times, ensuring that the probe is moved into different locations of the sample.
Log all 7 results, then, take an average and this will be the result that is recorded against the sample.
