In this module, we will cover how to request a payment from a client. You can request a payment for a down deposit on a unit, a parts invoice, or a work order.

Start by searching for the customer you want to request payment from.

Go to their customer profile.

Once you arrive, click the "Others" tab,

Begin by entering the opportunity name related to the payment.

You can enter any description you want and attach any necessary files, such as an invoice.

You can send your request to the customer by email or SMS.

Once you finish this, click Send Payment Request.

Now that the payment has been sent, you can view your requests in the payment list as open.

The customer will receive a secure payment request, allowing them to enter their credit card details from home to complete the payment. Once you receive payment, you will be notified in Traction.
