
How to Send a manual SCI Email through Eviivo
Learn how to manually send a Pre-Arrival SCI email using Eviivo's communication tools. Customize your guest messages with ease.
SCIs are automated, however, in case anything ever goes wrong, I want to show you how easy it is to manually send one yourself (through eviivo!).
In this guide, we'll learn how to manually send a pre-arrival email through Eviivo. This process involves selecting the appropriate template and optionally adding a personal note for the guest. By following these steps, you can ensure that the guest receives the necessary check-in information efficiently.
Note: There is a video guide located on the computer. It is located in the "Video Guides" folder, which can be found on the desktop itself. The video is titled "Sending an SCI Manually Through Eviivo"
Open Eviivo and locate the specific reservation.

Go to the Comms tab.

Choose a template.
Click on the dropdown menu.

Choose "Pre-Arrival - (SCI Automated).

You won't see most of the template itself when you do this, FYI - don't be alarmed, that's normal.
It will display only one or two sentences in the message area. This shows a part of the template where you can make adjustments to include a personal note for the guest, then it will appear at the top of the email.

But, you don't need to change anything about it. You can send it exactly as it is.
Send the email.

Now, you can see where it was successfully sent:

If I click on the eye icon on the right, it will display that email.

Here is the guest's email they received. This is the SCI they received.

And that's it!
