How to Set Up Business Hours with Solve's New Group Scheduling Page
Learn how to configure business hours, special hours, buffers, and more using Solve's new group scheduling page. Follow our step-by-step guide to optimize your booking settings.
In this guide, we'll learn how to set up a location to support visit types using Solve's new group scheduling page. This involves configuring business hours, special hours, buffers, walk-in volume, visit types, and scheduled templates. We'll start by adding business hours for all locations, whether they have static or differing hours. This setup ensures accurate scheduling and prevents online bookings during breaks.
Let's get started
Let's set up a location to support visit types with Solve's new group scheduling page. To start, go to the booking tab, where you will see a new set of configurations. These include special hours, business hours, buffers, walk-in volume, visit types, and scheduled templates. First, go into business hours and click "Add." Here, you can add business hours for all locations simultaneously if they share the same hours. If the hours differ by location, you can set them individually. Begin by selecting which days of the week will be open.

For this, I'm going to select all. Do I have static business hours? Yes, I do. I'm open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
If I did not, I can click "No" here and enter my different hours for the day of the week.

Additionally, you'll see that I can add a break.

If I have a lunch break and want my pages to reflect this, I can add a one or two-hour break. This ensures I won't receive any online bookings during that time.

Let's add my hours. If I wanted, I could even select 24 hours.

Here, I'm going to select the locations where I want to apply these hours.

I didn't mean that. Let's go back to business hours. To start, let's add our business hours.

Here, we can select which days of the week will be open. We can also specify if the schedule is static or varies depending on the week. Let's start at the top.
