
How to Set Up the XProtect Mobile App on Your Phone

In this guide, we'll learn how to set up the XProtect Mobile app on your phone. The process begins with installing it from the app store. Once reinstalled, you'll need to manually add servers, starting with the apparel store server. We'll cover how to configure the DNS, protocol, port number, and login credentials for each server. This guide will help you efficiently reconnect to your camera systems without losing any important settings.

Let's get started
First, go ahead and open the app.
You can click "Add Server" if that's the first option you see. If you have no servers, click "Edit" and then "Add Server."

Next, select "Add Server Manually."



The address will be provided to you via email or text, enter it in this spot.

Change the protocol to HTTP.


Your port number should be 8081.

You'll then click "Continue Login." Change the setting to "Basic User."



Type the password that was provided to you. Check the "Remember Me" option, then click "Login."

You will then be in the camera system.

To add the next set, click the small icon in the top left corner.

To switch servers, avoid hitting "log out," as it will erase your password. Instead, select "disconnect from server."

Repeat the above process for any additional servers.
