In this guide, we'll learn how to use SimilarWeb to find email addresses. This tool can be particularly useful when you need to contact someone but can't find their information elsewhere. We'll cover how to log in, search for a specific website, and verify the contact details to ensure accuracy. It's important to double-check the information, as sometimes the results may not be entirely accurate. By the end of this guide, you'll know how to effectively use SimilarWeb to find the contact information you need.
Let's get started
To use SimilarWeb to find email addresses, you can download the plugin, which is very helpful. Alternatively, you can follow these steps: 1. Log in to SimilarWeb. 2. Click "Home." 3. Type in whatever you want to know.

You can see insights about sites by clicking on "Company Overview" and scrolling down, like pageviews and total visits. We don't find this one super accurate for that data but it is still handy to have. You can see the geo traffic breakdown as well down, but the main thing we use this for is contacts.

Go to the contacts section, and it will show you all the options. Take this with a grain of salt. I tried this the other day to find someone on Care.com. It said it was the right website, but it might not be. Always click on the LinkedIn profile to ensure it's the correct person and company before proceeding.

So, this one is care. The logo doesn't look the same, and it doesn't quite sound like care.
I was looking at the website on her linkedin. Sure enough, if you click on this, it says it is care.org instead of care.com.

It's care.org, which you can see there. Double-check that it's the right website you're looking at.

You can also type in "CEO" or any other title, and it should appear if there is one.
Sometimes the LinkedIn links aren't there, and that's okay. I like to use it to double-check that it's the right website before clicking "reveal." After you click "reveal," it should be obvious whether the website matches by the domain at the end of the email. However, you only have so many reveals, so don't click through all of them just to find out they're wrong. That's it.
