How to Use the Page Style Configuration Wizard in RxWorks

Learn how to navigate the Page Style Configuration Wizard in RxWorks, including creating backups and importing files.

In this guide, we'll learn how to use RxWorks to modify and manage page style configurations. We'll explore the process of creating a backup of your current configuration, making necessary changes, and importing the updated configuration back into the system. This ensures that you can safely experiment with changes while having the option to revert to the original settings if needed.

Let's get started

In RxWorks, navigate to the task panel and ensure you're in the Activities tab. Then, proceed to Data Wizards.

Go to Configuration, then select Page Style Configuration Wizard.

We leave these options blank, meaning include all, and then we click Generate. First, we will save this as a backup copy.

First, we're going to create a backup of the current page styles so we can revert the changes later if neccessary.

Rename the file to 'Page Style Configuration Wizard - BACKUP - YYYY-MM-DD'

Then, we close this as an Excel file and generate a second Data Wizard. This will be the one we modify.

Click "Generate" again. Make any modifications to the sheet, such as changing level three to level one. Then, click the Save icon and close it.

Now, back in RxWorks, click on "Back," then navigate to "Import Wizard Files."

To import it, click the Import icon and check the file name to ensure its the correct one.

If we make a mistake or need to revert a change, we can import our backup file by selecting the Import option next to our backup.
