In this guide, we'll learn how to improve the workflow for sharing photo and video files by including the total number of files in the folder name before or while uploading. This approach helps editors quickly see how many photos or video clips to expect, making the process clearer and more efficient for everyone involved.

This method replaces the previous step of listing totals in the portal, aiming to simplify communication and reduce confusion.

Hello, Chris. I consistently try to make tweaks and improve processes and workflows. This is a new attempt at improving things.

Step #1: Click on "-stage primary bedroom" — Click on "-stage primary bedroom"

A while ago, I asked you to include the total number of photos in the portal, along with relevant notes. This has definitely improved our process.

Step #3: Drag "610 photos" — Drag "610 photos"

Step #4: Click on "** Needs by tomorrow afternoon" — Click on "** Needs by tomorrow afternoon"

Step #5: Double-click on "610 photos" — Double-click on "610 photos"

Step #6: Click on "** Neels" — Click on "** Neels"

Step #7: Drag "** Needs by tomorrow afternoon" — Drag "** Needs by tomorrow afternoon"

One idea I want us to try is to change the name of the folder we're uploading to, instead of listing the total number of photos and video files in the portal.

Step #8: Click on "living room as well" — Click on "living room as well"

Step #9: Drag "610 photos" — Drag "610 photos"

Step #11: Click on "Video- Highlight + ( Up to 75s )" — Click on "Video- Highlight + ( Up to 75s )"

Imagine this is the correct folder. It contains 610 photos, and we include that number in the folder name. This way, editors know the folder should have 610 photos. It's simpler for them and for us, and overall, it's cleaner.

Step #14: Click on "Photos- Interior & Exterior" — Click on "Photos- Interior & Exterior"

Step #15: Click on "Up to 75s )" — Click on "Up to 75s )"

Step #16: Click on "Interior & Exterio" — Click on "Interior & Exterio"

Type " - 610 Photos + Enter"

If there is something with video, do the same.

Step #18: Double-click on "> Video- Highlight + ( Up to 75s ) deliverables.web.url" — Double-click on "> Video- Highlight + ( Up to 75s ) deliverables.web.url"

Just include 60 or 34 clips or something like that.

Step #20: Click on "Up to 75s )" — Click on "Up to 75s )"

Type "Right Arrow"

That will let the video editors know the same thing.
