Single PO Return

Learn about the process of verifying original invoices and handling returns efficiently, including steps for credit entry and approval.

By Rose Gomez

In this guide, we'll learn how to verify returns by checking the payment status of the original invoice. This process involves searching for the invoice number to confirm payment and then saving the entry as a credit. We'll also cover how to handle the negative P and T numbers and the steps to approve returns without additional documentation.

Let's get started

Returns must be verified to ensure we paid the original invoice. This is the original invoice number, so we need to proceed to Sage 100 to confirm it was paid. If the original was not paid or short paid for this item, we don't want to take the credit, or we will need to pay it back on a future payment.
