Learn how to navigate HiBob to create, measure, and align your individual performance goals for the FY27 cycle.
This guide walks you through creating and aligning your FY27 performance goals in HiBob. By completing this process, you will define measurable objectives, outline structured key results, and align your individual work to company-wide strategic initiatives.
This process applies to all employees setting individual performance goals for the new fiscal year. Use this guide during the annual goal-setting period to structure, input, and align your deliverables in the system.
Navigate to Your Goals
There are two primary ways to access your goals dashboard in HiBob.
Option 1: From your profile

Option 2: From the app switcher

Create a New Goal
Ensure the cycle filter is set to the FY27 goal cycle before proceeding.

By default, the timeframe is 12 months, and the goal type is Individual. Leave the visibility set to Private so it is only visible to your direct reporting hierarchy.
Add Key Results
Key results are the specific deliverables that contribute to accomplishing your overall goal.

You can measure your key results using one of four options:
Measurement Type | Description |
|---|---|
Percentage | Tracks progress out of 100%. (Recommended for FY27) |
Numeric | Tracks a specific raw number target. |
Currency | Tracks a specific financial or monetary outcome. |
Complete/Incomplete | A simple binary toggle for task execution. |

Align Your Goal
All individual goals should align with one of the three strategic goals designated for your organizational segment.

Q: What visibility setting should I use for my individual goals?
A: We recommend leaving your goals set to "Private." This ensures they are only visible to your direct reporting hierarchy and system admins, rather than the entire organization.
Q: How should I format my goal titles?
A: Use the 4DX methodology to write quantifiable goals in the format of "from X to Y by when." The title itself should clearly state the measurable outcome or impact.
Q: Which measurement unit should I select for my key results?
A: It is highly recommended to use the "Percentage" measurement unit for all key results. Set your target to 100%, meaning that accomplishing your specific metric (even if it's numeric or financial) equals 100% completion of the result.
Q: How do I know which company goal to align my individual goal to?
A: Each organizational segment has three general strategic goals loaded in the system. Discuss with your manager to determine which segment goal makes the most logical sense for your deliverables.
