By Dimitri Aroney

In this guide, we'll learn how to continue building a personnel model by updating employee records with calculation fields and key metadata. We will focus on fields such as FY27 Pay, Bonus, OnCosts, and Total, and explain how these are calculated for each employee. We will also cover important Hibob fields like site, job profile, department, third-party employer, team, cost multiplier code, and Radford code, and discuss their impact on workflows and reporting.

Let's get started

Welcome to part two of the step-by-step personnel modeling guide. In part one, we left off at reviewing the personnel comments. If you haven't seen part one, please refer to it now. This will continue from FY27 pay onwards. Please review the reference materials prepared for the personnel model. These materials detail all the fields, potential responses, and when to select each response.

Continuing with the dashboard, we will focus on viewing and updating individual employees. The fields after personnel comments—FY27 Pay, FY27 Bonus, FY27 OnCosts, FY27 Total, and FY26 Total—are all calculation fields.

Please watch the video all you can find further details in our reference field guide that explains each field and how to populate them.
