Understanding Dashboard Filters for Sales Performance Metrics

Learn how to effectively use dashboard filters to view and analyze the performance metrics of individual sales representatives without distorting the results.

By Fabio Langbein

In this guide, we'll learn how to effectively filter data in a dashboard to ensure accurate results. It's crucial to avoid setting any dashboard filters that could distort the outcomes. Moving to the lower section of the dashboard, we encounter performance metrics for individual sales representatives. These metrics also require proper filtering for accurate analysis. By adjusting the filters, we can view data beyond just the last month, gaining insights from the complete dataset. To exit this view or cancel the changes, simple steps can be taken. Let's get started.

Let's get started.

Click "Erweiterte Filter"

3
Click "Nicht festgelegt"
4
Click "Nicht festgelegt"
5
Click "Schnellfilter"
6
Click "Schließen"

These also need to be filtered as usual. Ensure that no dashboard filter is set to avoid distorting the results. In the lower part of the dashboard, we can find performance metrics of individual sales representatives. These should also be filtered as usual.

Clicking here allows you to, for example, filter out that you do not want to see just the last month, but all data overall.

8
Click "Diesen Monat"
9
Click "Im Vergleich zu"

Now we see all the data together. To change this, we can either go back or cancel.
