Update WordPress core software and installed plugins to maintain website security, stability, and compatibility.

Update WordPress Core
When doing updates to BOTH Wordpress Core and Plugins, it's very important you update Core first - then Plugins. This ensures you don't break the website.

Click Log In to enter the WordPress dashboard.

Click Updates in the dashboard sidebar.
As Wordpress matures over decades of development - the number of updates is few. So don't be concerned if you don't see them often.

Click Update to version to upgrade WordPress core.
Update All Plugins
Updates are done on this area. The bold number displays number of Plugins that need updates.

Click Installed Plugins under the Plugins menu.

When the Plugin update is successful, the update now will turn green.

Click update now one each plugin that needs updating, until they're all green.
