Updates to Email and Video Templates: Use Top-Level Property Folder for Source Links

Learn about recent changes to our email and video templates and why it's important to use the top-level property folder for source file links. This helps minimize confusion and ensures consistency across teams.

By Kyle Lux

In this guide, we'll learn how to update email and video templates to use a single top-level property folder link instead of separate photo or video folder links. This helps reduce confusion when sharing files and ensures everyone accesses the same folder.

We'll also cover why these changes are important for keeping files organized and avoiding issues with folder creation.

Let's get started

I made some changes to the email and video templates, so they will look slightly different. We will cover that next week. That's fine. For the source file link, please use the same top-level folder.

Right now, this is still going to the specific video folder.

If you use the folder for the property, which you can get here, we will put that link in the email template.

The reason for that is that sometimes we have issues with the folders being created and appearing on Chris's computer.

Sometimes he creates his own folder, which is not the same folder. To minimize confusion, I want the top-level folder sent out. Just wanted to let you know. Changed the templates slightly for both photo and video. Please remember to send only the property link, not the specific video or photo folder. Thanks.
